If you have a dedicated IP address, you are in sole control, and will not be affected by the actions of other organizations. Further, with a dedicated IP address, enterprises can access their server from anywhere in the world using remote administration tools. You can also run an FTP server or access your website via a browser even if the domain name is temporarily inaccessible for any reason.
